A Mate For Bruno
Sue recovered from her cancer and we thought it was time that we got Bruno a mate to thank him for his love. In August 1997 we found Sapphire Star Suprise, Brandy to us, in Devon, again from Field Trials Champions stock. A nervous little girl. She soon settled down and Bruno was very pleased to see her. He licks her all over her head and ears every morning after breakfast whilst she just sits there and lets him.Over the years we caravanned from Inverness to London, from Devon to Oban, always they came with us. It was their holiday as much as ours. They love to swim in any water they can find, run in any woods and find anything lost or thrown away by others. All this time they helped to keep me moving. Always making us smile or worry at his latest trick. He loves to chase cats, squirrels and any bird he can see. He would retrieve as straight as an arrow when he had found a tired pigeon or dead bird. Once he escaped from the garden. He had seen the cat across the road and chased it, climbed a 6ft fence into a neighbours garden. The problem was that he did not have enough sense to climb back when he lost sight of the cat. So he sat in the back garden for 3 hours not making a sound until he was found. He rarely barks.

He is always the Gentleman allowing the lady to go first
As he grew he still had to chek the beds for comfort
They love to swim together
